Ceramic Tile Floors

Tile floors can to be installed on concrete slabs with thinset mortar. If vinyl flooring is present, it will have to be removed.

In case of wood floors, a concrete board has to be "screwed" down. This gives a solid non-moving surface to set the tiles.

Tile installed by gluing to a wood floor "will" crack. Tile set on floors with glue will become loose if moisture reaches the glue.
