Bad Customer Service Blog
Have you ever went to a store, restaurant or service center and got treated badly? I have so many times and I want you to know the the way that they treated me.
There is no slander here, just what happened as I recall it and no intent to alter what I believe to be true. Oh, I think that follows under the First Amendment. If you are one of those companies and want to scream "I'll sue you" I will see you in court with a counter suit.
Hill Tire Center Rivers Av., Wednesday Aug 20, 2008 3:30pm
First off I have my truck, my wife's car, my daughters car, my dump trailer and work trailer. I buy an average of two tires a month and have from Hill tires for the last three to four years. Today I had three trailer tires I took there to get two new tires and one repaired. The guy who works the counter meet me at the shop door and I told him what I needed. He told me the tires that I have been buying from them for the past year was not available and showed me another that was a bit larger. I questioned him on this several times. He only had one and sent someone to get more. After about 30 mins. he came back out after the other tires had arrived and said he could get those other tires but had to send someone to get them also. While I was waiting I had to show the young man doing the work how to take the valve stem out before he messed up my rim. The tire that was to be repaired he never checked where it was leaking and just took it off the rim. When he remounted it I ask him what he had patched. He showed me one plug and said but the nail wasn't all the way threw. I told him he should have checked it before he took it off the rim. Just look at me and and said "ol". He put it back on, put air in it and was pissing air like an air hose. I told him to just put a plug in it. I don't know what he did but the tire was rippled in the side wall near the plug??? I had to go in at the counter and tell him it was messed up and still pissing air and to just put an new tire on it also. He ask me "did they ever get the tires"? I said yes it was the new ones laying beside the rims. After one and a half hours I got the tires put in the back of the truck.
If that all wasn't bad enough, while I was waiting all this time, it was very apparent that they had two machines to change tires and all these workers standing around in groups of two to five just talking ant any given time. I'm thinking why can't one of these other guys help get these tires mounted. When the guy got the first tire mounted after about 1hr 20 min there was five workers standing in the bay beside him just talking and laughing when Joey the manager came out and ask me how things was. I told him I had been there for close to and hour and a half, they had to send for tires twice because the guy didn't know how to tell what tires was what and the one guy changing the tires didn't really know what he was doing and there is five guys standing right there shooting the bull and I thought the place was a circus. He told me I should go somewhere else if I didn't like the circus. I told him that would happen. I walked back and sit on my tailgate. Joey then walked to the five guys and said to them "that man right there said this place is a circus" One of the guys said something and Joey said the same thing looking at me as if he just wanted to be sarcastic. They all broke up and one of the guys grabbed my other tire and now I had two tires being mounted at once. Wow, what a circus. Guess I should have learned two years ago when they changed my oil and the oil filter gasket blew out and left me on the side of the road.
