Bath Remodeling

Tired of the 70's ceramic tile look in your bath? Or that fiberglass tub unit that is discolored or cracked? I can remove the tile or fiberglass unit and install new faucets and Cultured Marble Showers, whirlpool tubs, vanity tops and ceramic tile. Never clean grout lines again. Don’t pay someone about the same price for cheap thin vinyl to cover up the mold, mildew and other problems, they will still be there. Never clean grout lines again.  Take a look at what your bath could look like in just three to five days.

Prices start at $3500 for tub unit replacement. For more information see my Bath Pricing guidelines or pricing & details for a Total Bath Remodel

Laminate Counter Top Replacement -- Sometimes replacement of the total kitchen is out of budget. Simple things like replacing the counter top can give your kitchen a new and fresh look. I can provide custom laminate or postform counter tops. What is the difference in Post Form & Custom Laminate Counter Tops.

Laminate Flooring --Laminate flooring is a great choice in replacement of floor coverings. The look of wood or tile offers a number of choices. It is tuff, easy to clean and is installed without the hassle that tile or wood flooring has.

Ceramic Tile Floors -- Tile floors can to be installed on concrete slabs with thinset mortar. If vinyl flooring is present, it will have to be removed.  In case of wood floors, a concrete board has to be "screwed" down. This gives a solid non-moving surface to set the tiles. Tile installed by gluing to a wood floor "will" crack. Tile set on floors with glue will become loose if moisture reaches the glue.

Kitchen Remodeling -- Tired of your old cabinets?  I can help you with ideas that work. Kraftmaid Cabinets has everything from simple to complex. If you have thought about having your kitchen installed by Lowe's or Home Depot, Read This First.

Hardwood Flooring -- Real Hardwood Flooring has to be placed in the home about two weeks before installing to cure. After installing, the floor needs to set for another week before finishing. A sealer coat is applied on the first day of the finishing process. then the next two days two other coats are applied. You will not want to sleep in the house during the finishing process due to the smell. It is a lot of trouble, but when finished, the floors are something to be proud of.

Vinyl Replacement Windows -- I use the WeatherLoc windows made by Ellison, or Pella sold at Lowe's. Some companies charge as much as $500 per window. My installs range from $300 to $350 for the window and includes covering the outside with brake metal so the window will never need painting. I also install from the outside and do not disturb the interior trim.

The Price of a Good Job  I would rather explain the cost, than apologize for the quality. I provide a professional service and do the work myself. You will not have ten different workers dragging in just to remodel one room. I stay until the job is done. To total remodel a average bath the normal is four days. The first thing done each day is drop clothes are put down from the front door to the bathroom. When I leave each day your home will be as it was before I arrived. When I see my past customers in town a week or years after their job, they are still my freinds.

Free Estimates -- From Summerville to Charleston and most of the Greater Charleston Area.
